Could the water be cut by a line?
Before you could draw
the water becomes thin air
soars to space
pours as rain
flows like river
piercing time
and repeats itself as waves
makes the creepers blossom on the ruins
and becomes water again.
Where will you be then?

Here, on this earth,
the parallel lines you draw
need not meet.
But on the water
they do often
appear, meet, unite,
break and depart.
Here, on this earth,
the lines drawn
create arguments,
commit murders,
engage in battles.

But, on the water
the center is
where you put your finger
and the circumference is where you draw.

Centers, like circumferences,
are many and the diameter endless.

That’s how
the water is.
